Transportation (Phương tiện giao thông) là chủ đề quen thuộc trong kỳ thi Cambridge English: Starters. Bé sẽ học cách gọi tên các phương tiện giao thông, nơi chúng hoạt động và những động từ thường dùng khi nói về việc đi lại hằng ngày. Đây là chủ đề thường xuất hiện trong phần Nghe, Nói và Đọc – Viết.

5. Tips

• Cho bé gọi tên các phương tiện giao thông khi đi ra ngoài cùng gia đình.

• Sử dụng mô hình đồ chơi hoặc tranh ảnh để bé phân biệt từng loại phương tiện.

• Luyện mẫu câu "How do you go to school?" và "I go to school by..." mỗi ngày vì đây là mẫu câu rất phổ biến trong Cambridge Starters.

• Kết hợp dạy các quy tắc an toàn giao thông đơn giản như Stop at the red light hoặc Wear your helmet.

• Đóng vai hỏi – đáp về các chuyến đi để bé luyện kỹ năng Speaking.

• Ôn tập từ vựng bằng flashcards hoặc trò chơi đoán phương tiện giao thông.

• Kết nối chủ đề này với các chủ đề Colours, Numbers và House để giúp bé mở rộng vốn từ và sử dụng tiếng Anh linh hoạt hơn.
