Yes, my accommodation is relatively convenient because it is not too far from my school, so transportation is manageable. Living close to school saves commuting time and reduces daily stress caused by heavy traffic. In addition, shorter travel distances allow me to have more time for studying and resting. I think location is one of the most important factors when choosing accommodation.

Question 10: What type of accommodation is popular in your country?
In Vietnam, both houses and apartments are popular depending on location and financial conditions. In large cities, apartments are becoming increasingly common because urban areas are crowded and land prices are very high. However, in smaller cities and rural areas, many families still prefer traditional houses because they provide more space and privacy. I think housing preferences are changing gradually because of urbanization.

e.g: Land prices are increasing rapidly.

e.g: Villages still have traditional houses.

Part 2: Describe a house or apartment you would like to live in in the future.
In the future, I would really like to live in a modern house located in a peaceful area near nature but still reasonably close to the city center. I do not want to live in an extremely crowded or noisy environment because I think quiet surroundings are much better for mental well-being, concentration, and relaxation. Ideally, the house would be in a safe neighborhood with convenient transportation, green spaces, and access to important facilities such as supermarkets, hospitals, and workplaces.
In terms of appearance, I would prefer a modern and minimalist design because I like clean, organized, and visually comfortable living spaces. The house would probably have large windows to allow more natural light and fresh air into the rooms because bright environments usually improve mood and productivity. I would also like the house to include a comfortable study area, a small garden, and enough personal space for relaxation and work. In addition, I think modern technology and smart home systems would make daily life much more convenient and efficient.
If possible, I would like to live there with my future family because I believe a home should provide emotional connection, support, and stability. I think living with people we care about makes accommodation feel more meaningful rather than simply functioning as a physical place to stay. At the same time, I would still want enough privacy and quiet space to focus on work, reading, or personal activities whenever necessary. A balanced environment between family interaction and personal independence is extremely important to me.
Another reason why I would like this type of accommodation is because housing conditions strongly affect people’s quality of life and emotional health. Comfortable living environments can reduce stress, improve sleep quality, and increase overall happiness significantly. In contrast, noisy, crowded, or uncomfortable homes may negatively affect productivity and mental well-being over time. I think people often underestimate how important accommodation is for emotional balance and daily lifestyle.
I would also want my future house to feel warm and welcoming instead of overly luxurious or expensive. Personally, I care more about comfort, functionality, and emotional atmosphere than social status or appearance. I believe homes should support healthy lifestyles and meaningful relationships rather than only showing financial success. In addition, environmentally friendly features such as energy-saving systems or natural spaces would make the house feel healthier and more sustainable.
Overall, my ideal future home would combine comfort, privacy, modern design, and emotional warmth. Although achieving this goal may require significant financial effort and long-term planning, I think having a peaceful and supportive living environment is extremely valuable. For me, a home is not only a place to live but also a place that influences happiness, relationships, and personal growth.

Question: Why are housing prices increasing in many countries?
Housing prices are increasing because of population growth, urbanization, and rising demand for accommodation in major cities. In addition, limited land availability and increasing construction costs also contribute to higher housing prices. Some investors purchase property mainly for profit, which can make housing even less affordable for ordinary people. I think affordable housing has become a serious issue in many societies.

Yes, I think governments should support affordable housing because accommodation is a basic human necessity rather than only a luxury product. Many low-income families struggle to afford safe and stable living conditions, especially in expensive urban areas. Government support could reduce homelessness, improve social stability, and increase quality of life for disadvantaged groups. However, policies should be managed carefully to remain financially sustainable.

In some cases, rental agreements may also be unfair or financially stressful for tenants. In addition, people who move frequently may experience instability and difficulty building long-term comfort in their living environments. I think renting can be practical, but it also has disadvantages.

I think living independently can be very beneficial because it teaches responsibility, financial management, and problem-solving skills. However, living independently may also create financial pressure and emotional challenges, especially for students or young workers. I believe the best choice depends on individual circumstances and personal readiness.
