Sample Answer

I'd like to talk about a memorable family event that I attended a few years ago, which was a large family reunion held during the Lunar New Year holiday.

The event took place at my grandparents' house in my hometown. It happened during Tet, which is the most important traditional celebration in Vietnam. Since many relatives live in different cities, it is often difficult for everyone to gather together, so this occasion was particularly special.

The reunion included my grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and other extended family members. In total, there were more than twenty people. We spent the day preparing traditional dishes, decorating the house, sharing meals, and exchanging New Year wishes.

What made the event especially memorable was the warm atmosphere. It was one of the rare occasions when almost every family member was present. I had the opportunity to meet relatives whom I hadn't seen for several years and learn more about our family history through conversations with older generations.

Another reason I remember the event so clearly is that we took many family photos together. Looking at those pictures now reminds me of how valuable family relationships are and how quickly time passes.

I also enjoyed listening to stories from my grandparents about their childhood and life experiences. Their stories helped me appreciate the sacrifices they had made for the family and gave me a deeper understanding of my roots.

Overall, this family reunion remains one of my most cherished memories because it strengthened family bonds, created meaningful moments, and reminded me of the importance of staying connected with loved ones.
