3. Bài mẫu hoàn chỉnh
Many people believe that companies and supermarkets should reduce the amount of packaging used for products, while others argue that consumers themselves should avoid purchasing overpackaged goods. In my opinion, although customers have an important role in protecting the environment, businesses should take greater responsibility because they control production and packaging practices on a much larger scale.
One major reason why companies and supermarkets should reduce packaging is the urgent need for the reduction of plastic waste. Excessive packaging, especially plastic packaging, contributes significantly to environmental pollution and landfill waste. Since businesses produce goods in enormous quantities, even small reductions in packaging can have a major environmental impact. In addition, companies have greater financial resources and technological capabilities to invest in development of recyclable packaging materials and other sustainable alternatives. Businesses also have a form of corporate responsibility toward society, meaning they should prioritize environmentally friendly production methods rather than focusing only on profits. Furthermore, reducing packaging can support environmental protection and sustainability by lowering pollution levels and conserving natural resources.
On the other hand, consumers also play an important role in addressing this issue. One key factor is that consumer demand influences companies, meaning businesses are more likely to change their packaging practices if customers refuse to buy excessively packaged products. For example, many people now support environmentally friendly brands and use reusable shopping bags instead of plastic ones. This encourages sustainable consumption and increases public awareness about environmental issues. In addition, avoiding unnecessary purchases can contribute to the reduction in unnecessary purchases and overall waste production. Therefore, customer behavior can place significant pressure on businesses to adopt greener packaging solutions.
Overall, both businesses and consumers share responsibility for reducing packaging waste. However, I believe companies and supermarkets should take the leading role because they have greater influence over production systems and can create large-scale environmental improvements more effectively.
