Many people believe that the primary advantage of international cooperation lies in global commerce, while others argue that its most valuable contribution is environmental protection. Although economic partnerships undoubtedly bring substantial financial gains, I believe that international collaboration in addressing environmental issues offers more meaningful and lasting benefits for humanity.

On the one hand, cross-border cooperation plays a crucial role in promoting global business. Through trade agreements, technological exchange, and foreign investment, countries are able to strengthen their economies and improve their competitiveness in international markets. These partnerships also create employment opportunities and allow developing nations to access advanced managerial expertise. For example, regional organizations such as ASEAN have helped member states attract foreign investors and expand their export industries. As a result, millions of people have experienced higher incomes and improved living standards. Therefore, economic cooperation clearly contributes to national prosperity and global commercial growth.

On the other hand, many people believe that environmental protection represents the most significant outcome of international collaboration, and I strongly support this view. Environmental challenges such as climate change, air pollution, and biodiversity loss extend beyond national boundaries, making independent action insufficient. Through global agreements and shared scientific research, governments can reduce carbon emissions, preserve natural ecosystems, and invest in sustainable technologies. The Paris Agreement, for instance, demonstrates how collective commitment can address environmental threats on a global scale. Without such cooperation, environmental damage may become irreversible and pose serious risks to future generations.

In conclusion, although international cooperation brings undeniable economic advantages through business development, I believe its greatest value lies in protecting the environment because this directly influences the long-term survival and prosperity of humanity.
