On the other hand, the involvement of the private sector and individuals is also essential. Pharmaceutical companies contribute significantly to healthcare innovation, as their profit-driven model creates strong research incentives. In addition, individuals can support non-profit organisations through charitable donations and philanthropic efforts, helping to fund specialised projects. This collaborative effort ensures sustainable funding and enables researchers to maximise efficiency.

In conclusion, although multiple stakeholders should contribute, governments must remain the primary source of funding to ensure fairness and long-term benefits. A system based on shared responsibility offers the most effective solution for advancing medical research.
